We have taken significant steps to reduce our energy cost, including rationalizing our energy use in accordance with CEMEX's best practices; securing a consistent supply of electricity; and negotiating both the bulk purchase of electricity and the energy tariffs charged during peak and off-peak hours. Our electric substation has also enabled us to decrease our energy consumption during off-peak hours.
